Smilin' Will

Joey's band has a website. Their name is Smilin' Will. While I haven't heard them yet, George Pierson McDavis says they might be the best band in the world. And you can't argue with that.

Note: None of the band members are named Will.

Last week Google Labs released Google Calendar.

Pandora Project

Pandora is the result of the Music Genome Project. They've been working on an analysis of all music since the year 2000. They listened to songs from over 10,000 artists and carefully recorded everything they could. Pandora takes that info plays music for you based on artists you like. It's a great way to find out about music you've never heard. If you like music or just have ears, you should check it out.

As Dan pointed out to me earlier, today at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06. This will never happen again. Of course, yesterday will never happen again either, but that's beside the point.

Fictional Brands

Wikipedia comes through for the nerds once more with their list of fictional brands that have appeared in entertainment.

Among my favorites are Teamocil and The Cornballer from Arrested Development and Ocean Breeze Soap from The Muppets Take Manhattan. It's just like taking a cruise, only there's no boat and you don't actually go anywhere.
